Southern California Cottonwood Lakes Trail My sister and I had an amazing time backpacking the Cottonwood Lakes Trail in the Inyo National Forest. The pandemic has grounded me in southern California for the foreseeable future, so I decided to explore nature in my own backyard. An easy 5-hour drive from Orange County takes you to the edge of the Sierra Nevadas and reveals some of the most beautiful scenery in California. I completed the hike to Mt.
